Remove/Install Front Bumper Pedestrian Protection Sensor - AR91.60-P-0950ME

With Code U60 (Pedestrian protection - Active hood)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front bumper and place down on suitable mat.   AR88.20-P-2000ME
2 Release and disconnect electrical connections (1).    
3 Release hose (2) from groove in impact absorber (3). NOTES
Check hose (2) is correctly seated in impact absorber (3). The hose (2) must be routed without any tension or kinks. Malfunctions can occur otherwise.
 
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT The hose (2) must be seated as deeply as possible in the groove of the impact absorber (3) and have the same protrusion length at left and right sides.  
4 Remove front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1, B151/3) together with hose (2) from bumper. NOTES
The front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1, B151/3) must not be detached from the hose (2).
Malfunctions can occur otherwise.
 
INSPECT Check     
5 Check front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1, B151/3) with hose (2) for damage. If damaged,

Replace front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1, B151/3) together with hose (2).
 
6 Check impact absorber (3) for damage. If damaged,

replace impact absorber (3).
 
7 Install in the reverse order
