| 1 | Remove cover from front seat backrest without loosening the padding from the cover. | AR91.18-P-1822ME | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1) from multicontour seat control unit (N32/15 or N32/16). | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 3 | Release and disconnect pneumatics connection (2) from multicontour seat control unit (N32/15 or N32/16). | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 4 | Note routing diagram of compressed-air lines. | ||
| 5 | Remove push buttons (3) and remove side air cushion (4). | Fig 1 | |
| 6 | Unhook center air cushion (5) from spring wires (6) of seat frame base (7). | ||
| 7 | Remove electric lines from multicontour seat control unit (N32/15 or N32/16). | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 8 | Remove side air cushion (4), center air cushion (5) and multicontour seat control unit (N32/15 or N32/16) from seat frame base (7). | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |
