| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove corresponding seat backrest trim. | AR91.10-P-1912ME | |
| 2 | Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 3 | Unhook cover (3) on seat backrest frame (4) far enough until sidebag unit (1) is accessible. | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) at sidebag unit (1). | ||

| 6 | Remove nut (6) and remove with ground line (7). | ||

| 7 | Remove sidebag unit (1) from seat backrest frame (4). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||

| 9 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
