The longitudinal dimension is approximately four times the diagonal of the window.
- Insert pipe probe through bonding from outside.
- Insert cutting wire from outside and remove pipe probe.
- Slide cutting wire into the outer gap between the window and the window frame.
Slide the cutting wire under the sealing lips of the window.
Otherwise sealing lips can be damaged.
Use soapy water as lubricant.
- Punch pipe probe from inside through the bonding, insert remaining cutting wire from outside and remove pipe probe.
- Secure the window on the outside to the body with suitable adhesive strips.
The window will come away suddenly while being cut out.
Damage to the paint and flange will occur.
- Fasten suction cup winches to the inside of the window and wind up the cutting wire in the direction of the arrow.
Reposition suction cup winches as per the picture sequence once cutting point has reached the area of the circular marking (arrows).
Otherwise, the cutting wire will tear.
Check continuously whether the cutting wire is routed outside under the sealing lip and is not cutting off any electric lines on the inside.
An incorrectly routed cutting wire can cause irreparable damage to a reusable window.
