Bonding surfaces must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components.

Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.

Only use repair kit indicated in XENTRY Portal Parts Information.

1. Open adhesive cartridges and insert in sealing and corrosion protection gun.

   To press out the remaining residual quantities in the adhesive cartridges, insert adapters in adhesive cartridges and plates at push rods of sealing and corrosion protection gun.

2. Actuate sealing and corrosion protection gun until the level in the adhesive cartridges is compensated.

   Both adhesive components should exit from openings in adhesive cartridges.

3. Install mixing tube on adhesive cartridges.
4. Press out and discard a quantity of adhesive components amounting to the length of two measuring tubes to ensure uniform mixing.
5. Mix one additional measuring tube length for reference.

   During processing breaks ≥ 15 min, purge mixing tube by pressing out adhesive material or replace mixing tube taking into account operation step 4.

   The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise reduced and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   The reference adhesive bead serves for checking and/or confirming the adhesive curing of the adhesively bonded connection before the vehicle is moved for the first time after the gluing in of the panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1).

6. Apply adhesive material uniformly on bonding surfaces at panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1).

   Apply adhesive material within 25 min and position and fix in place panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) within max. 15 min on the body flange.

   The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   Apply adhesive material in the form of an adhesive bead with a height of approx. 14 mm and a width of approx. 8 to 10 mm. Immediately remove soiling caused by adhesive.
