Remove/Install Front Panoramic Sliding Sunroof Mechanics - AR77.21-P-0511ME

	Remove
1	Remove sliding roof panel.		AR77.21-P-0500ME
2	Remove screws (11) and remove wind deflector bearing (9).		AR77.21-P-0102ME
3	Remove panoramic sliding sunroof motor (A98m1).		AR77.21-P-1000ME
4	Remove screws (1) and remove mounting support for luggage net (2).	Model 167.1/9 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) with code U40 (Safety net for luggage cover) Model 167.1 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) with code 541 (Combined luggage cover incl. safety net)
5	Remove screws (3a, 3b).
6	Disconnect mechanics (4) from roller sunblind guide rail (5) and sliding sunroof frame (6).
7	Remove mechanics (4) towards rear in upward direction, guide with guide tube (7) out of guide (8), then pull out together with drive cable and remove.
	Check
8	Check mechanical components (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof for ease of movement; grease if necessary.	Synthetic grease, sliding roof 500 g, DB supply specification 6827.60	*BR00.45-Z-1004-06A
	Install
9	Attach wind deflector bearing (9) and end piece (10) to mechanical components (4).		AR77.21-P-0102ME
10	Insert drive cable of mechanics (4) into guide (8).	Further guide drive cable at seat of panoramic sliding sunroof motor (A98m1) manually. Helper required.
11	Slide mechanics (4) forward until end stop and slightly tighten screws (11) of end piece (10) by hand.
12	Align mechanics (4) from underneath via cutout (12).
13	Tighten screw (3a) and tighten screws (3b) slightly by hand.	Screw to panoramic sliding sunroof mechanical components	*BA77.21-P-1001-01F
14	Install wind deflector mount (9).		AR77.21-P-0102ME
15	Install wind deflector.		AR77.21-P-0101ME
16	Install panoramic sliding sunroof motor (A98m1).		AR77.21-P-1000ME
17	Manually move to tilt position of sliding roof panel at panoramic sliding sunroof motor (A98m1).
18	Install sliding roof panel.		AR77.21-P-0500ME
19	Manually close sliding roof panel at panoramic sliding sunroof motor (A98m1).	This process should be uniform and steady in its movement. If this is not possible, there is a defect in the mechanical components (4) or the positioning is faulty.
		Helper required.
20	Tighten screws (3b).	The screws (3b) are used to attach the mechanical components (4).

21	Install headliner.		AR68.30-P-4300ME
