Install Rear Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof - AR77.21-P-0802-05ME

  1. Position rear fixed element (1) using two helpers, carefully mount on adhesive bead and slightly press on.

    IMPORTANT Two helpers required.

  2. SPECIAL TOOL Insert feeler gauges that have been adjusted to the gap dimension (A) determined before removal between the rear fixed element (1) as well as side roof paneling (2) and align rear fixed element (1).
  3. Center rear fixed element (1) between both roof panelings (2, 3).

    IMPORTANT Side roof paneling (2) of rear fixed element (1) must be flush with front roof paneling (3).

  4. Mount roof railing or drip rail and check lateral alignment of rear fixed element (1), correct if necessary.

    IMPORTANT Remove roof railing or drip rail only after adhesive material has cured.

  5. Place suitable loads on rear stationary element (1) during curing time of adhesive.

    NOTES Use flat weights, e. g. sandbags.

    Otherwise the rear stationary element (1) can be damaged.

  6. Carefully remove cup suction tool.
  7. Remove roof railing or drip rail.
