Adjust Tilting/Sliding Roof Panel - AR77.20-P-1100ME

	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Connect vehicle diagnosis system and perform normalization of the sliding roof.
			AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
2	Open sliding roof trim (3).
3	Move sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position.
4	Remove left and right boot (2).	Extend left and right boot (2) first at bottom and then at top. Otherwise, the left and right boot (2) may be damaged by bending.
	Adjust
5	Release screws (4) on left and right on the sliding roof panel (1).
6	Press sliding roof panel (1) upward out of the sliding roof cutout.
7	Allow sliding roof panel (1) to lower back into the sliding roof cutout.	Sliding roof panel (1) is centered in sliding roof cutout via pressure of sliding roof seal.
8	Adjust sliding roof panel (1) to the front left an (right roof paneling and tighten the front screws (4).	Observe position of the measurement positions (A) for adjusting the height.

9	Adjust sliding roof panel (1) to the rear left and right roof paneling and tighten the rear screws (4).	Observe position of the measurement positions (A) for adjusting the height.

10	Tighten center screws (4).
	Check
11	Move sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position.
12	Move sliding roof panel (1) from the tilt position into the open position.	Do not fully open sliding roof panel (1).
13	Close sliding roof panel (1).
14	Check adjustment of the sliding roof panel (1) at all 4 measurement positions (A).	If adjustment is not correct, ↓ Repeat adjustment at the relevant measurement position (A).
	Install
15	Install left and right boot (2).
16	Close sliding roof panel (1).
17	Close sliding roof trim (3).
