Procedure for removing the cartridge

| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove cover of air/water duct. | AR83.10-P-1411ME | |
| 2 | Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 3 | Remove clip (5), remove inerting line (4) cartridge (1) and place to one side. | Make sure it is correctly locked. |

| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Unscrew nuts (2). | *BA86.10-P-1001-03B | |
| 6 | Pull cartridge (1) forward and out of bolts (arrow A), guide slightly downward (arrows) tilt back (arrow C), and remove to the left (arrow d). | ||

| 7 | Check cartridge (1) and all connections for damage. | If problems occur, ↓ Replace cartridge (1). |
