injury hazard from pinching ana crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove

Remove caps (3, 4).
Unscrew nuts (5).
Release and remove wiper arms (1, 2) from windshield wiper system using puller and thrust piece.
Install
Attach wiper arms (1 2) to the windshield wiper system driver.
Position wiper arms (1, 2) with the aid of the window markings.
Screw on nuts (5) Model 205, 206, 213, 253, 293
Model 297
Attach caps (3, 4).
