When removing the seat cushion, the connectors on pressure sensor (B48/4) (model 171, 203, 209, 230) or on seat occupied recognition pressure sensor (B48/4) (model 172, 240) and on WSS (Weight Sensing System) control unit (N2/13) (model 203, 209) or on Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110) (model 171, 172, 230, 240) must not be disconnected.

Disconnecting the connectors causes malfunctions of the supplemental restraint system (SRS) at the passenger side.

The new seat cushion is always supplied complete with pressure sensor (B48/4) (model 171, 203, 209, 230) or seat occupied recognition pressure sensor (B48/4) (model 172, 240) and WSS (Weight Sensing System) control unit (N2/13) (model 203, 209) or Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110) (model 171, 172, 230, 240) and is calibrated beforehand.
