	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove heat shield (2).
3	Slowly open cap (3) of coolant expansion reservoir (1), release overpressure and unscrew.
4	Suction off the coolant from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and collect it in a suitable container.	Hand pump	Fig 3
5	Remove bleed line (4) and coolant hose (5) from coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs or protective covers.		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ

6	Release, disconnect electrical connector (6) and unclip electrical wiring harness at coolant expansion reservoir (1).	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function. Dismantling tool	Fig 2
7	Remove expansion rivet (7) and unclip coolant expansion reservoir (1).	Dismantling tool	Fig 2
8	Remove coolant hoses (8, 9) from coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs or protective covers.	Collect escaping coolant with suitable means.	AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ

9	Remove the coolant expansion reservoir (1).
	Check
10	Check elastomer bearing (10) of the coolant expansion reservoir (1) for wear and damage.	If there are problems: ↓ Replace elastomer bearing (10).
11	Install in the reverse order.

12	Check coolant level and correct.
