Bottom Rear Center Section Install And Weld In (Model 167.9) - Ar64.20-P-1000-08MEX

1. Install bottom rear-end center section (1) and fit.

   Helper required.

2. Install liftgate seal.
3. Install striker eye.
4. Check gaps using feeler gauge and adjust.
5. Fix bottom rear center section (1) in place.
6. Remove striker eye.
7. Remove liftgate seal.
8. Drill rivet holes on the bottom rear-end center section (1) with a diameter of 6.7 mm (areas A).
9. Drill rivet holes on the bottom rear-end center section (1) with a diameter of 6.7 mm through the existing holes in the body (areas B).

   The operation step is shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

10. Remove bottom rear center section (1).
11. Deburr rivet holes on bottom rear center section (1) and body on both sides.
12. Remove drilling chips.
13. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

14. Install bottom rear center section (1) and fix in place.

    Helper required.

15. Rivet bottom rear-end center section (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.5 x 14.5 (areas C).
16. Bottom rear-end center section (1) (areas D).

    The following operation steps 17, 18, 19, 20 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed similarly on the right side of the vehicle.

17. Rivet bottom rear-end center section (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.4 x 12 (areas F).
18. Bottom rear-end center section (1) (area G).
19. Bottom rear-end center section (1) (area H).
