| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove covers (2). | ||
| 3.1 | Press clamps (3) together and remove grab handle (1). | If the grab handle (1) at the front is removed. | |
| 3.2 | Press clamps (3) together and pull out grab handle (1) until the electrical connector of the rear illumination is accessible. | If the grab handle (1) in the rear passenger compartment is removed. | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of the rear illumination from the grab handle (1). | If the grab handle (1) in the rear passenger compartment is removed. | |
| 5 | Remove clamps (3) from the body. | ||
| 6 | Check clamps (3) for damage; replace if necessary. | ||
| Install | |||
| 7 | Clip clamps (3) and covers (2) into the grab handle (1). | ||
| 8 | Connect electrical connector of the rear illumination to the grab handle (1). | If the grab handle (1) in the rear passenger compartment was removed. | |
| 9 | Clip grab handle (1) into the roof. | ||
