Adjust Panoramic Sliding Sunroof - AR77.21-P-6924ME

WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
INSPECT Check     
1 Close panoramic sliding sunroof.    
2 Check front height offset (a) on front stationary element (2) relative to the sliding roof panel (1). IMPORTANT The rear edge of the front stationary element (2) must be flush or not more than 2 mm higher than the sliding roof panel (1). The dimension of the front height offset (a) must be the same size over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
3 Check rear height offset (b) on the sliding roof panel (1) relative to the rear stationary element (3). IMPORTANT The rear edge of the sliding roof panel (1) must be flush or not more than 2 mm higher than the rear stationary element (3). The dimension of the rear height offset (b) must be the same over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
  Adjust     
4 Remove front inside trim (4). Model 167.1/9 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)
IMPORTANT The instructions are shown only for one side and must be carried out on both sides.

5 Loosen screws (5) one after the other and tighten again slightly by hand. IMPORTANT Take care not to shift the sliding roof panel (1) when loosening the screws (5).

6 Close panoramic sliding sunroof.    
7 Adjust front height offset (a) on the sliding roof panel (1) so that the rear edge of the front stationary element (2) is flush or not more than 2 mm higher than the completely closed sliding roof panel (1). IMPORTANT The dimension of the front height offset (a) must be the same size over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
8 Adjust rear height offset (b) on the sliding roof panel (1) so that the rear edge of the sliding roof panel (1) is flush or not more than 2 mm higher than the rear stationary element (3). IMPORTANT The dimension of the rear height offset (b) must be the same over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
9 Lift sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position and open until screws (5) can be accessed.    
10 Tighten screw screw/bolts (5).    
11 Close panoramic sliding sunroof.    
12 Check adjustment of panoramic sliding sunroof. If there is a problem,

Readjust panoramic sliding sunroof.
 
13 Install front inside trim (4). Model 167.1/9 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)
IMPORTANT The instructions are shown only for one side and must be carried out on both sides.

  Normalizing     
14 Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.
