Install Front Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof - AR77.21-P-0803-05CW

NOTESOnly use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. 

Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur. 

NOTES Install front stationary element (1) as quickly as possible after the adhesive has been applied to the body.

Otherwise, the front stationary element (1) and the body flange will have adhesion problems.

  1. Align front stationary element (1) in relation to windshield (2) and panoramic sliding sunroof (3), according to gap dimensions (A, B) determined during removal.
  2. Align front stationary element (1) according to transitions (C) level with panoramic sliding sunroof (3).

      Insert SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauges (4) adjusted to gap dimension (A) between front stationary element (1) and windshield (2).

      IMPORTANTSPECIAL TOOL The feeler gauges (4) serve as spacers during the curing time of the adhesive.

    2. Model 205, 222, 253

      with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)

      Model 222

      with code 398 (Panoramic roof with MAGIC SKY CONTROL)

      Secure front stationary element (1) against slipping with multiple strips of adhesive tape.

  3. Carefully remove cup suction tool.
  4. Put loads on front stationary element (1) during curing time of adhesive.

    NOTES Use flat weights, e.g. sandbags.

    The front stationary element (1) will otherwise be damaged.
