Adjust Front Panoramic Glass Roof - AR77.21-P-0501NKA

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
INSPECT Check     
1 Completely close panoramic sliding roof (1)    
2 Check front height offset (a) from front glass cover (2) to panoramic sliding roof (1) and adjust if required IMPORTANT The rear edge of front glass cover (2) must be flush or max. 2 mm higher than the panoramic sliding roof (1).
The dimension of the front height offset (a) should be the same over the entire width of the panoramic sliding roof (1).
 
3.1 Check rear height offset (b) of panoramic sliding roof (1) to rear roof paneling (5) and adjust if required Model 117, 156, 176

The rear height offset (b) cannot be adjusted. The rear edge of the closed panoramic sliding roof (1) should be flush or max. 2 mm height than the rear roof paneling (5).
 
3.2 Check rear height offset (b) of panoramic sliding roof (1) to rear fixed glass section (7) and adjust if required Model 205

IMPORTANT The rear edge of the panoramic sliding roof (1) must be flush or max. 2 mm higher than the rear fixed glass section (7).
The dimension of the rear height offset (b) should be equal over the entire width of the panoramic sliding roof (1).
 
  Adjust     
4 Completely open panorama sliding roof (1)    
5 Loosen bolts (3, 4)    
6 Adjust front height offset (a) on panoramic sliding roof (1) so that the rear edge of the front glass cover (2) is flus or max. 2 mm higher than the completely closed panoramic sliding roof (1) IMPORTANT The dimension of the front height offset (a) should be the same over the entire width of the panoramic sliding roof (1).  
7 Tighten bolts (3, 4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, front guide to panoramic sliding sunroof *BA77.21-P-1001-01E 
8 Move panoramic sliding roof (1) to tilt position Model 156

9 Adjust rear height offset (b) by uniformly turning adjustment screw (6) on left and right side of panoramic sliding roof (1) so that the rear edge of the panoramic sliding roof (1) is flush or max. 2 mm higher than the rear fixed glass section (7) Model 156

10 Close panoramic sliding roof (1)    
11 Normalize panoramic sliding roof (1) with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function Model 117, 156, 176
