| 1 | Move soft top to repair position R2 with switch | Do not secure soft top compartment lid (1) against lowering. |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | After a waiting time of min. 20 s the hydraulic is depressurized. |

| 3 | Cover rear fender | ||
| 4 | Manually close soft top compartment lid (1) | Helper required. The residual pressure in the hydraulic cylinder (2) is relieved by manually closing. |

| 6 | Unclip bracket (3) and lay down to side | ||
| 7 | Remove lock washers (4) from hydraulic lines (5) | ||
| 8 | Pull hydraulic lines (5) out of hydraulic cylinder (2) | Catch hydraulic oil running out. |

| 9 | Close hydraulic lines (5) and connections of hydraulic cylinder (2) with stop plugs | Record plug |

| 10 | Lift upper retainer (6) and lower retainer (6) using a suitable screwdriver, detach and remove hydraulic cylinder (2) | Do not remove retainer (6). Retainer (6) preload can otherwise be lost. |

| 11 | Clip in hydraulic cylinder (2) at top and bottom | ||
| 12 | Remove stop plug from hydraulic lines (5) and remove from connections on hydraulic cylinder (2) | ||
| 13 | Insert hydraulic lines (5) into hydraulic cylinder (2) | ||
| 14 | Install lock washers (4) on hydraulic lines (5) | ||
| 15 | Clip in bracket (3) | ||
| 16 | Manually open soft top and lay down in soft to compartment | Helper required. |

| 17 | Remove retainer on soft top compartment lid (1) and lay soft top compartment lid (1) down on soft top | Helper required. |
|
| 18 | Switch on ignition | ||
| 19 | Move soft top to repair position R1 with switch | AR77.30-P-1030LWR | |
| 20 | Completely open and close soft top compartment lid (1) at least four times using switch | Do not close soft top bow completely. |
