Check Heads-Up Display - AR54.30-P-6401-02LW

Set picture to center position 

  1. Hold down the "Back" button (S110s4) for approx. 5 s.
  2. Press system selection button (S110s3).
  3. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Settings" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).
  4. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Heads-up display" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button. (S110s6).
  5. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Position" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).
  6. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Stage 0" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button. (S110s6).

    Call up Workshop menu and Test image 1 

  7. Hold down the "Back" button (S110s4) for approx. 5 s.
  8. Press and hold upper button of Accept/end phone call button (S111s3); and then within 1 s also press the OK button (S110s6) and keep it pressed for approx. 5 s.

    IMPORTANT The Workshop menu is shown in the multifunction display (A1p13).

  9. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Heads-up display" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button. (S110s6).
  10. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Test image" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).

    IMPORTANT "Off (original picture)" appears in the multifunction display (A1p13).

  11. OK button Press (S110s6) to make changes. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Test image 1" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button. (S110s6).

    IMPORTANT Test image 1 is shown on the windshield.

  12. Check and assess test image 1.

    IMPORTANT Assessment should be performed by at least 2 persons. The setting is OK if test image 1 is displayed as shown.

    If test image 1 is shown correctly.

    OK button (S110s6) press. Press the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "OFF (original picture) is highlighted and confirm the selection by pressing the OK button (S110s6). Hold down the "Back" button (S110s4) for approx. 5 s.

    IMPORTANT Exit the Workshop menu.

    If test image 1 is not shown correctly.

    Proceed with operation step 13

  13. OK button (S110s6) press. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Test image 7" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).
  14. Check and assess test image 7.

    IMPORTANT Assessment should be performed by at least 2 persons.

    The setting is OK if test image 7 is displayed as shown.

    If test image 7 is shown correctly.

    OK button (S110s6) press. Press the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "OFF (original picture) is highlighted and confirm the selection by pressing the OK button (S110s6). Hold down the "back" button (S110s4) for approx. 5 s.

    IMPORTANT Exit the Workshop menu.

    If test image 7 is not shown correctly.

    Continue with operation step 15

    IMPORTANT If test image 7 was not shown correctly, the parameters in the workshop menu must be reset.

    Reset parameters in workshop menu 

  15. Press the "back" button (S110s4).
  16. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Parameters" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).
  17. Press scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "Warp configuration" is highlighted and confirm selection by pressing OK button (S110s6).

    IMPORTANT Parameters are reset.

  18. Call up and assess test image 1 and test image 7 again.

    If test image 1 and test image 7 are shown correctly.

    OK button (S110s6) press. Press the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) repeatedly until "OFF (original picture) is highlighted and confirm the selection by pressing the OK button (S110s6). Hold down the "back" button (S110s4) for approx. 5 s.

    IMPORTANT Exit the Workshop menu.

    If test image 1 or test image 7 is not shown correctly.

    Adjust head-up display using diagnostic system.
