  1. Install cup suction tool on windshield (c).
  2. Place rear window (c) on body flange (b) with aid of helper.
  3. Align rear window (c) in body opening.

    IMPORTANT Model 203.0, 205.0/1/3, 207.3, 209.3, 211.0, 212.0/1, 218.3

    Adjust distance dimension (A) with aid of SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge.

    IMPORTANT Model 197.3

    Model 230.4 with code P99 (Special model "AMG Black Series")

    Do not adjust rear window (c) with SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge; center parallel in body opening with aid of helper.

  4. Glue on strips of tape (arrows) at top and side.
    1. 5.1) Model 203.0, 205.0/1/3, 207.3, 209.3, 211.0, 212.0/1, 218.3

      Model 230.4 with code P99 (Special model "AMG Black Series")

      Cut adhesive strips (arrows) at outer edges of rear window.

    2. 5.2) Model 197.3 Cut adhesive strips (arrows) at transition between seal on rear window and body flange.
  5. Remove rear window from vehicle.
