Replace Soft Top Compartment Lid - AR77.33-P-1700-01LWR

  1. Unscrew screws (4) and remove left and right lock (5) from soft top compartment cover (1). Model 205.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  2. Mark position of bolts (6) on left and right hinge (7).
  3. Unscrew screws (6) and remove left and right hinge (7) from soft top compartment cover (1). Model 205.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  4. Unscrew screws (8) and remove left and right stop buffer (9) from soft top compartment cover (1). Model 205.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238.4 TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  5. Disconnect electrical connection (10).
  6. Unscrew nuts (11).
  7. Model 205.4, 238.4

    with code 810 (Sound system)

    Disconnect electrical connections (12).

  8. Remove electrical wiring harness from soft top compartment lid (1).

  9. Remove additional brake lamp (13) from soft top compartment lid (1).
  10. Unclip covers (14) with SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge.
  11. Model 205.4, 238.4

    with code 810 (Sound system)

    Unclip left and right speaker (15) and remove.

  12. Remove screw/bolts (16).
  13. Unclip paneling (17) with SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge and remove soft top compartment lid (1).
  14. Remove trim piece (18) from soft top compartment lid (1).
  15. Assemble new soft top compartment lid (1) in reverse order.
