- Using a scraper, cut back adhesive bead (1) at body flange to a residual height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.
- Completely cut back residues of spacers (2, 3) and adhesive bead (1) present in this area.
- Remove cutting residues from body flange with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Repair paint damage on body flange.
If required.
- Apply primer in bonding area.
In the case of missing residual adhesive material in bonding area.
- 6.1 Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) Once primer has dried, glue on new spacers (2) so that flush with body flange edge.
Dimension (A): 200 mm, measured from lower edge at transition of roof frame to body flange.
- 6.2 Model 205, 253 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) Once primer has dried, glue on new spacers (2) at center on front and rear body flange.
