Install Panoramic Rear Glass Roof - AR77.21-P-0600-06CW

NOTES Insert rear panoramic roof within 5 minutes after applying adhesive to body and align.

Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material may be decreased.

IMPORTANT Immediately and carefully remove soiling caused by adhesive.

  1. Position rear panoramic roof (1) with aid of helper, carefully lay onto adhesive bead and lightly press on.

    NOTES Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

    Model 253 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

    When installing rear panoramic roof (1) ensure that rear roller sun blind does not come into contact with adhesive. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the rear roller sun blind, because the adhesive prevents the dirt from being removed completely.

    1. 2.1 Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

      Model 204.0 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

      Model 205.0/1 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

      SPECIAL TOOL Insert feeler gauges (2) adjusted to the gap dimension (A) determined before removal, between rear panoramic roof (1) and rear-end window (3) and align rear panoramic roof (1).

      SPECIAL TOOL Insert feeler gauges (2) adjusted to the gap dimension (A) determined before removal, between rear panoramic roof (1) and roof paneling and align rear panoramic roof (1).

    1. 3.1 Model 204 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

      Adjust reference dimension (B) on left and right side of rear panoramic roof (1) determined before removal between guide rail (4) and guide strip (5) by moving rear panoramic roof (1) at side.

      NOTES Maintain dimension (B).

      Otherwise the front panoramic sliding roof cannot be guided correctly and the panoramic roof can be damaged.

      Center rear panoramic roof (1) between side roof paneling.

  2. Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

    SPECIAL TOOL Insert feeler gauges, adjusted to the gap dimension (C) determined before removal, between rear panoramic roof (1) and both front covers (6) and align rear panoramic roof (1).

  3. Place suitable loads on rear panoramic roof frame (1) during curing time of adhesive.

    NOTES Use weights with large surface such as sandbags. Otherwise the rear panoramic roof (1) can be damaged.

  4. Remove cup suction tool.
