	Remove/install
1	Carry out commissioning of sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).	When replacing sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).
		Model 253 with code 810 (Premium sound system)	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
		Model 293 with code 810 (Premium sound system)	AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Remove right trim in load compartment at side	Model 253 (except 253.992/993), 293 with code 810 (Premium sound system)	AR68.30-P-1180LWG
		Model 253.992/993 with code 810 (Premium sound system)	AR68.30-P-1180RFW
4	Remove spare wheel well trim.
5	Remove nut (2).
6	Remove nut (3).
7	Remove reinforcement (1) upward.	Ensure correct seating of the retaining clip (4) in the opening (9).
8	Release and disconnect electrical connector (5).
9	Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).
10	Remove nuts (7).
11	Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).	Ensure correct seating of the sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) in the retaining bracket (arrows) of bracket (8).
12	Install in the reverse order.
