Remove/Install Driver Airbag On Steering Wheel - AR91.60-P-0663MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move steering wheel (6) all the way upward.    
2 Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1).   AR54.10-P-0003MFA
3 Insert suitable tool (1) into right and left opening (arrow) on steering wheel (6) and push each end of the spring (2) inwards until driver airbag (4) is released. IMPORTANT A suitable tool (1) would be a round bar of approx. 4 mm in diameter or a commercially-available hexagon socket, size 4 mm.
IMPORTANT When removing the driver's airbag (4) for the first time, the right and left opening (arrow) at the steering wheel (6) must be pierced.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT The ends of the spring (2) must audibly engage into the mounts (5) of the driver's airbag (4).
 
4 Carefully remove driver's airbag (4) then release and disconnect electrical connector (3). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that the electrical connector (3) engages properly.  
5 Dispose of driver's airbag (4) properly. When replacing the driver airbag (4).  
6 Install in the reverse order.    
7 Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.
