	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Open stowage compartment.	Model 243
3	Open cover (1) on front vehicle interior socket (X58/17).
4	Release vehicle interior socket (X58/17) using pull-off device (2) and pull out far enough until electrical connector is accessible.	Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. Align cover (1).

5	Release and disconnect electrical connector, and remove front vehicle interior socket (X58/17).
6	Install in the reverse order.
