Release and disconnect electrical connector at purging pressure sensor (B4/4) from purge control valve (Y58/1).

  4. Release and disconnect electrical connector at partial-load operation crankcase ventilation valve (5).
  5. Release and disconnect line (4) at charge air pipe.
  6. Unclip partial-load operation crankcase ventilation valve (5) from cable duct and place to one side with connected lines.

NOTES Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.

This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function.

  7. Release and disconnect electrical connector at pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6).
  8. Unclip engine wiring harness (6) at bracket (3) from charge-air distributor.

NOTES Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.

This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function.

  9. Release and disconnect electrical connector at pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7).
  10. Release and disconnect electrical connector at pressure sensor downstream of air filter (7).
  11. Release and disconnect electrical connector at exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/16).
  12. Release and disconnect electrical connector at intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/15).
  13. Release and disconnect electrical connector at intake camshaft adjustment solenoid (Y49/1).
