Remove/Install Purge Valve - AR47.30-P-8252MFC

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. AS47.00-Z-0001-01A 
WARNING Risk of injury  . Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove upper engine cover.    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE     AP01.10-P-2405-01C
3 Release and disconnect purge line (1) from the purging switchover valve (Y58/1) and place to one side. NOTES Do not subject purge line (1) to tension, crush it, or kink it.
Otherwise, this can lead to damage to the purge line (1) and impair its function.
 
4 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.  
5 Release and disconnect purge line (1) from the connecting flange (3). NOTES Do not subject purge line (1) to tension, crush it, or kink it.
Otherwise, this can lead to damage to the purge line (1) and impair its function.
 
6 Remove screws (4) and remove purging switchover valve (Y58/1).    
7 Install in the reverse order.
