| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove upper engine cover. | ||

| 3 | Release and disconnect purge line (1) from the purging switchover valve (Y58/1) and place to one side. | Otherwise, this can lead to damage to the purge line (1) and impair its function. |

| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2). | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect purge line (1) from the connecting flange (3). | Otherwise, this can lead to damage to the purge line (1) and impair its function. |

| 6 | Remove screws (4) and remove purging switchover valve (Y58/1). | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
