Remove/Install Charge Air Pipe From Charge Air Cooler To Charge Air Distributor - AR09.41-P-1331MFC

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by fuel spraying out at high pressure Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area. Do not carry out any work on system when it is pressurized. AS07.16-Z-0001-01A

  Remove/install top part of the charge air pipe (12)     
1 Remove upper Engine cover.    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE     AP01.10-P-2405-01C
2 Remove purge line (1) and seal exposed connections with suitable stop plugs. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
3 Unclip vacuum line (3) from charge air pipe (12).    
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector from pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6).    
5 Unclip Engine wiring harness (2) below charge air pipe (12).    
6 Unclip electrical connector (4) of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) with connected wiring harness (5) from charge air pipe (12) and place to one side.    
7 Unclip purge line (9) from bracket (10) of charge air pipe (12).    
8 Unscrew screw/bolt (6).    
9 Remove bolts (7) and remove bracket (10) of charge air pipe (12) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6).    
10 Remove screw (8).    
11 Disconnect charge air pipe (12) from connecting point (11) and remove.   AR09.41-P-1311-01AL 
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new sealing ring between charge air pipe (12) and throttle valve actuator (M16/6). Pay attention to the positioning of the lines (3, 9) and wiring harnesses (2, 5).  
12 Remove bolt from pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6). When installing new charge air pipe (12).  
13 Remove pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6) and lay down on suitable mat. When installing new charge air pipe (12).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Pay attention to correct seat of sealing ring.
 
14 Install in the reverse order.    
  Remove/install bottom part of the charge air pipe (12)     
15 Remove lower Engine compartment paneling.   AR61.20-P-1105MFA
16 Remove charge air pipe (12) from charge air cooler.   AR09.41-P-1311-01AL 
17 Install in the reverse order.
