Notes On Installing Brake Wear Indicator Contact Sensors - AH42.10-P-0003-01CW

Model 117, 118, 156, 166, 167, 172, 176, 177, 204, 205, 207, 212, 217, 218, 222, 231, 242, 243, 246, 247, 292, 463 

The following variants are available on the front axle:

• One brake lining wear sensor on right side of vehicle.
• Two brake lining wear sensors on right side of vehicle.

The following variants are available on the rear axle:

• No brake lining wear sensor on right side of vehicle.
• One brake lining wear sensor on right side of vehicle.

When replacing the brake lining of the brake lining wear sensor, install it at the same position again.

Route or install the front right brake lining wear sensor line (2) or the electrical connector (1), as shown.

Route or install the rear right brake lining wear sensor line (3) or the electrical connector (4), as shown.

For reasons of replacement part simplification, install the brake linings so that the brake lining wear sensors can be reinstalled at the corresponding assembly positions.
