Use puller (01), repair spindle and press (02) to pry off tie rod joint (3).

Pushing off

Unscrew self-locking nut from tie rod joint (3).
Install puller (01), repair spindle and press (02) at tie rod joint (3) of steering knuckle.
Pry off tie rod joint (3) with the puller (01), repair spindle and press (02) from steering knuckle.
Turn steering and check that the puller (01) is correctly seated on the tie rod joint (3).

If seating is incorrect, damage to the race of the tie rod occurs and this results in destruction of the tie rod.
Remove puller (01), repair spindle and press (02) from tie rod joint (3).
Attach
Clean the centering cone, the thread on the tie rod joint (3) and the mount on the steering knuckle.
There must be no grease or oil on the centering cone, thread and on the mount.

Otherwise, the tie rod joint (3) may work its way loose.
Tighten new self-locking nut on tie rod joint (3) securely .
If necessary, counterhold tie rod joint (3) using a suitable tool. Observe specified tightening torque.
