Retrofit Front Illuminated Door Sill Molding With Mercedes-Benz Lettering - AZ82.20-P-0005-10MFB

Installation is shown on left side of vehicle as an example. Installation on right side of vehicle is performed analogously.

1. Clean contact surface of door sill in hatched area with cleaner.

2. Remove carrier films (8) and protective foil on front left illuminated door sill molding (E17/47).

   Note guides (9) during subsequent assembly.

3. Position left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) on longitudinal member and press on evenly.
4. Route white line (2) of front left illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) with black 2-pin contact socket (2.1) over the longitudinal member and fit in place using fabric tape (11).
5. Connect black 2-pin contact socket (2.1) to black 2-pin plug (1.1).
6. Wrap felt tape (12) around black 2-pin contact socket (2.1) and black 2-pin plug (1.1) and fix in place in cable duct.
