| 3 | Remove screws (2) and remove heat shield (3). | ||

| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (10) from the temperature sensor upstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11). | ||
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (11) from the pressure sensor downstream of the air filter (B28/11). | ||
| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (12) from the overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101). | ||
| 9 | Remove retaining clamps (13) from the air intake pipe (1). | ||
| 10 | Remove screw (14) of the purge line. | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (17). | ||
| 12 | Open clamp (15) of the air intake pipe (1) on the exhaust gas turbocharger. | ||
| 13 | Open clamp (16) and push upwards on hose (4). | Fig 1 | |
| 14 | Remove air intake pipe (1). | This leads to damage to the lines and impairs their function. |

| 15 | Seal exposed openings with suitable protective covers. | Fig 2 | |
| 16 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
