| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter. | AR07.04-P-0086MFG | |
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter. | AR07.04-P-0085MFG | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector from differential pressure sensor. | AR07.04-P-0025MFG | |
| 5 | Remove nuts (2) and remove bracket (3). | ||
| 6 | Remove right front fender liner. | AR88.10-P-1301MFA | |
| 7 | Open clamp (4) and remove exhaust pipe downstream of catalytic converter (5) from catalytic converter (1). | *BA49.10-P-1005-02X | |
| 8 | Seal exposed openings with protective covers. | Fig 2 | |
| 9 | Remove screws (6). | *BA49.10-P-1004-02X | |
| 10 | Remove nut (7). | *BA49.10-P-1010-02X | |
| 11 | Remove catalytic converter (1) upwards. | ||
| 12 | Check catalytic converter (1) for damage. | If catalytic converter (1) is damaged, ↓ Replace catalytic converter (1). |

| 14 | Remove corrosion and combustion residues from catalytic converter (1), exhaust pipe downstream of catalytic converter (5) and exhaust gas turbocharger. | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
