| 1 | Drain off coolant. | AR20.00-P-1142MFG | |
| 2 | Remove ignition coil for cylinder 3 (T13). | AR15.12-P-2003MFG | |
| 3 | Remove cable bracket (11) from heat shield (3). | ||
| 4 | Remove oil feed line of exhaust gas turbocharger. | AR09.40-P-6022MFG | |
| 5 | Remove vacuum line (2) from heat shield (3). | ||

| 7 | Unscrew screws (5) and remove heat shield (3). | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 8 | Remove cable bracket (6) from coolant line (1) and place electric line to one side. | Do not crush or kink or subject line to tension. This will result in damage to the line and impair its function. |

| 11 | Open clamps (9), remove hose (10) and seal exposed connections with suitable stop plugs. | Ear clamp pliers |

| 13 | Collect escaping coolant with suitable rags. | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
