Disconnect/Connect Electrical Connector On Electronic Stability Program Control Unit - AR42.45-P-0001-01MFA

IMPORTANT If there is damage on the bracket, plug or locks, replace corresponding component part.

Disconnect electrical connector 

  1. Slide gray lock (3) upwards.

    NOTES If there is damage on the bracket (2), plug (1) or locks (3, 4), replace corresponding component part. Otherwise, the plug (1) of the ESP® control unit (N30/4) may work its way loose.

  2. Push lock (4) and swivel bracket (2) approx. 90° upwards.

    IMPORTANT The plug (1) thereby slides out of the jack on the ESP® control unit (N30/4).

    IMPORTANT Do not use tools.

  3. Pull plug (1) out of jack.

    NOTES While doing so, do not pull plug (1) out at bracket (2). Otherwise damage will occur to the bracket (2).

  4. Swivel bracket (2) downwards until the lock (4) latches into place.

    IMPORTANT Otherwise the plug can become damaged.

    Connect electrical connector 

  5. Swivel bracket (2) approx. 90° upwards.
  6. Insert plug (1) into jack on ESP® control unit (N30/4) until it makes contact evenly along its entire length with the base of the jack.

    NOTES While doing so, do not pull plug (1) out at bracket (2). Otherwise damage will occur to the bracket (2).

  7. Swivel bracket (2) downwards until the lock (4) latches into place.

    IMPORTANT The plug (1) thereby locks.

  8. Slide gray lock (3) downwards.
