| 1 | Check coolant level in upper area of coolant expansion reservoir (2). | The coolant level at a coolant temperature > 20°C must reach exactly up to the marking (arrow A). If the coolant level matches the conditions, ↓ coolant level correct, check complete, no further operations steps necessary. If the coolant level does not match the conditions, ↓ correct coolant level in coolant expansion reservoir (2), continue with operation step 2. |

| 2 | Unscrew the cap (1) of the coolant expansion reservoir (2). | Open cap (1) only at a coolant temperature of < 40°C. Coolant can otherwise escape. |
