Mount For Rear Lamp Unit Remove - Ar63.50-P-0004-01MFA

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage, these steps must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on the lamp unit mount (1) and cut off (area A₁ , A₂ , A₃ , A₄ , A₅ , and A₆ ).
2. Remove lamp unit mount (1).

3. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   

   Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on insides. Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides (area C).

4. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
5. Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges. parts kit.
