- Remove
adapter (F) and
angle gauge (A) from
adjusting tool set.
- Insert
adapter (F) into guide (arrow) of
angle gauge (A) and use bolt to fix into place on the angle gauge (A).
- Fold up driver-side wiper arm (2) and slide
angle gauge (A) together with
adapter (F) onto wiper blade mounting of driver-side wiper arm (2).
- Lower driver-side wiper arm (2) until all three contact points at the base of the
angle gauge (A) make contact with the windshield.
- Read off angle of incidence for driver-side wiper arm (2) on scale of
angle gauge (A), and note down.
- Remove
angle gauge (A) together with
adapter (F) from driver-side wiper arm (2).
- Repeat testing procedure for passenger-side wiper arm (1).
- Compare recorded check values with adjustment values.
