| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) from transfer case absolute sensor (B57). | ||

| 4 | Remove transfer case absolute sensor (B57). | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04B | ||
The lugs of the transfer case absolute sensor (B57) must latch into the grooves in the transfer case (1). Damage will otherwise occur. |

| 5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
