| 2 | Support front axle differential (1). | ||

| 3 | Unscrew threaded connections (2). | *BA33.30-P-1002-03C | |
| 4 | Lower front axle differential (1) far enough until the bolts (3) are accessible. | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connector from front axle differential lock actuator (M46/7). | ||
| 6 | Remove screw/bolts (3). | *BA33.40-P-1006-01A | |
| 7 | Remove front axle differential lock actuator (M46/7) downwards. | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 9 | Check front axle differential lock actuator (M46/7) for proper operation. | Then drive in light serpentine lines at walking pace until the indicator lamps of all three locks light up red (arrow) at the switches. Then deactivate locks and "Low Range". |
