Removing, Installing Adaptive Damping System Control Unit (ADS) - AR32.32-P-0500XG

Model 463 as of model year 2019 with code A20 (Suspension with Adaptive Damping system)

REMOVING Remove/install

REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS
Perform commissioning of adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5). Only when replacing the adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5). AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Remove front floor covering on left side of vehicle.   AR68.80-P-0007XG
3 Disconnect electrical connector (1) at left B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/33).    
4 Remove expansion rivet (2). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 2
5 Release catch hooks (3) and lift entire rear duct slightly.    
6 Slide right rear duct (4) with rear duct splitter (5) to the center console and loosen left rear duct (6).    
7 Disconnect rear duct splitter (5) from right rear duct (4) and remove.    
8 Unscrew nuts (7).    
9 Remove holder (8).    
10 Disconnect electrical connectors (9, 10) at adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5).    
11 Unscrew nuts (11).    
12 Remove adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5).    
13 Install in reverse order.
