Distance (A) is the distance between the stop screw (5) and the axle stop (6) when the hydraulic limiter is applied.
If different distances (A) were measured for the left steer and right steer, then the center position of the steering must be corrected by shortening or lengthening the drag link.
Here, the distance (A) for left steer must always be at least equal, if possible larger than for right steer. However, the mechanical axle stop must have correctly adjusted beforehand for this to happen.
Release counter nut (2) on drag link (1).
In some model designations, the drag link (1) does not have any counter nuts (2), but clamps (4) instead, as installed on the tie rod (3). In this case, release the clamps on the drag link (1).
Lengthen drag link (1) by turning.
Only if the distance (A) on the right wheel is too large and on the left wheel is too small.
Shorten drag link (1) by turning.
Only if the distance (A) on the right wheel is too small and on the left wheel is too large.
Check hydraulic limiter again.
