- Unscrew bolt (2) from steering gear and remove lock washer (3).
- Screw steering limitation valve (1) all the way into the steering gear housing.
- Unscrew steering limitation valve (1) on steering gear 765.503 by one turn, on steering gear 765.502 by one and a half turns.
The steering limitation valve (1) is pressurized. Never turn this by more than two and a half turns when the engine is running.
Otherwise, hot steering gear oil will exit under high pressure.
- Mount lock washer (3) and screw in bolt (2).
