Distance (A) is the distance between the stop screw (5) and the axle stop (6) when the hydraulic limiter is applied.
If the distance (A) at left steer and right steer is generally too large or too small, the hydraulic steering path has to be corrected.
Here, the distance (A) for left steer must always be at least equal, if possible larger than for right steer. However, the mechanical axle stop must have correctly adjusted beforehand for this to happen.
Unscrew bolt (2) from steering gear and remove lock washer (3).
Rotate steering limitation valve (1) through approx. one quarter turn.
If the distance (A) is too large.
Unscrew steering limitation valve (1) through approx. one quarter turn.
If the distance (A) is too small.
Check hydraulic limiter again, repeat adjustment procedure, if necessary.
Mount lock washer (3) and screw-in bolt (2).
