Remove/Install Inertization Cartridge - AR86.10-P-0106GW

Model 463 with engine 157, 176, 279 

up to model year 2019 

with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant)

WARNING Risk of injury  during testing and repair operations related to pyrotechnical components Do not expose pyrotechnical component parts to temperatures above 100 °C or 212 °F.
Disconnect current supply when working on such component parts.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Disconnect battery ground line Model 463 (except 463.234) with engine 157, 176, 279
as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019 with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant)
AR54.10-P-0003GW
2 Remove left front fender liner    
3 Release and disconnect electrical connection (1)    
4 Expose wiring harness on attachment point (2) IMPORTANT Always replacing mounting material.  
5 Release clamp (3)    
6 Unscrew nuts (4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, extinguishing agent tank to body *BA86.10-P-1001-03J 
7 Remove cartridge    
8 Install in the reverse order
