Remove/Install Position Sensor Of Left Cylinder Bank Intake Camshaft - AR07.04-P-0051XGC

Engine 177 in model 463 

as of model year 2019

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove upper engine cover. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR01.10-P-2405XGC
3 Remove screw/bolt of left intake camshaft hall sensor (B6/4) and remove left intake camshaft hall sensor (B6/4). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover *BA15.10-P-1002-03M 
4 Release and disconnect electrical connectors of left intake camshaft hall sensor (B6/4).    
5 Seal the opening on the left cylinder head cover with a suitable stop plug. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
6 Install in the reverse order.    
7 Read out and delete fault memory.    
REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.
