Remove/Install Position Sensor Of Left Cylinder Bank Exhaust Camshaft - AR07.04-P-0052XGA

Engine 176 in model 463 

as of model year 2019

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove left air filter housing. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR09.10-P-1151XGA
2 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
3 Unscrew screw (2) and remove left exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover *BA15.10-P-1002-03M 
4 Check sealing ring of left exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6) for damage. If complaints are present, ↓
Replace left exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6).
 
5 Install in the reverse order.    
6 Read out and delete fault memory.    
REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.    
8 Install upper engine cover.   AR01.10-P-2405XGA
