- Screw cap off diagnostic socket of the fuel distributor.
- Insert end of the
pressure hose (3) into the container (4).
- Screw union nut (5) of the
pressure hose (3) onto the diagnostic socket.
At this point, the diagnostic socket is opened and the fuel pressure in the fuel distributor is reduced. Fuel escapes from the end of the hose.
- Unscrew union nut (5) of the
pressure hose (3) from the diagnostic socket.
- Screw cap onto the diagnostic socket of the fuel distributor and tighten

Replace sealing ring of the cap.
