Unscrew nuts (1) Engine 176 in model 463 with transmission 722.9
up to model year 2019

Engine 177 in model 205 with transmission 722.9 .
Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019 Remove ground line at the lower screw/bolt (2).
Pull screw/bolts (2) out of transmission bell housing.
Remove cover (3).
Turn engine at center bolt of crankshaft with socket in direction of engine rotation and, in doing so, check the toothing of the ring gear of clutch plate (4) for damage.
If damaged

Install drive plate (4).
Insert retaining lock (5) into access opening.

If necessary, rotate engine further at center bolt for crankshaft in direction of engine rotation until the retaining lock (5) snaps into place.
Remove in the reverse order.
